We have been licensed by the State of California, Contractors Business License
667995, since 1993. We have offices in Modesto and La Grange, Lake Don Pedro
area. We do a lot of projects in Mariposa County. The President, Jimmy L Jones, Sr.,
has been doing construction since 1968. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in
Industrial Arts from California State University, Fresno. After that he was commissioned
an officer in the United States Air Force. While going to college and serving in the Air
Force he continued working on remodeling and construction projects.
Right out of the Air Force Jim was the superintendent for a large commercial
construction company in central California for thirteen and one half years. This
construction company did projects from Napa to Bakersfield.
J. L. Jones Construction, Inc. has always enjoyed seeing peoples dreams come true
and being a part of those dreams. Many times lifelong relationships have developed.
We are a small company, often times doing only one project at a time. This gives us the
opportunity to offer that personal attention to only your project.
We do most of our projects in northern Mariposa county, which includes the
La Grange/Lake Don Pedro, Coulterville and Greeley Hill areas. We have home offices
in Modesto and Lake Don Pedro, California.
Since we work out of home offices, our overhead is lower and therefore we can offer
lower costs for your projects.
